This position is located in the Enterprise Risk Management Section, Business Transformation and Accountability Division (BTA) of the Department of Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance (DMSPC). The Management and Programme Analyst reports to the Chief of Section, P-5. The focus of the Section is to lead the implementation of enterprise risk management across the global Secretariat.

Within delegated authority, the Management and Programme Analyst will be responsible for the following duties:
?Develops, implements and evaluates assigned programmes/projects related to the implementation of the enterprise risk management (ERM) and internal control framework, etc.; monitors and analyzes programme/project development and implementation; reviews relevant documents and reports; identifies problems and issues to be addressed and initiates corrective actions; liaises with relevant parties; ensures follow-up actions.
?Performs consulting assignments, in collaboration with the client, by planning facilitating workshops, through other interactive sessions and assisting in developing the action plan the client will use to manage the change.
?Researches, analyzes and presents information gathered from diverse sources.
?Coordinates enterprise risk management policy development, including the review and analysis of issues and trends, preparation of evaluations or other research activities and studies,
?Generates survey initiatives; designs data collection tools; reviews, analyzes and interprets responses, identify problems/issues and prepares conclusions.
?Organizes and prepares written outputs, e.g. enterprise risk management draft background papers, analysis, sections of reports and studies, inputs to publications, etc.
?Provides substantive backstopping to consultative and other meetings, conferences, etc., to include proposing agenda topics, identifying participants, preparation of documents and presentations, etc.
?Initiates and coordinates outreach activities; conducts enterprise risk management training workshops, seminars, etc.; makes presentations on assigned topics/activities.
?Supports activities structured to define a comprehensive enterprise risk management framework across the Secretariat to identify, assess, manage and monitor risks and internal controls.
?Helps direct the development and maintenance of the methodology and practices related to the implementation of enterprise risk management, and supports the enterprise risk management focal points formally appointed in every department and office of the global Secretariat.
?Leads and/or participates in missions, including provision of guidance to external consultants and other parties and drafting mission summaries, etc.
?Provides support to oversight coordination activities as part of the mandate of the Accountability Systems Service.
?Supports the coordination of organizational resilience management and assessment activities, including with other United Nations Common System entities.
?Performs other duties as required.

Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, public administration, management, law, or a related field. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
工作經(jīng)驗
A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise risk management, project or programme management, administration or related area is required. Experience in drafting and presenting reports to intergovernmental bodies is desirable. Experience in developing policies in the areas of risk management, accountability or related area is desirable. Experience planning, coordinating and facilitating workshops or multi-stakeholder meetings is desirable.
語言要求
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in English is required; and knowledge of French is desirable. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
